Dearly Beloved

As king of Israel, it was my time to rule. As king of Israel, I must find a wife, but at the same time I must begin to make new alliances. I had a plan: I will intermarry with Phoenicia for an alliance, and I will marry the king's (who they call Ethbaal) daughter Jezebel. Then I will become much stronger! I also plan on having a child with Jezebel and intermarrying my child with Judah, then I will be protected by two nations, along with increasing our political growth!
