Last Entry Continued by Jehoshaphat, King of Judah

To Whom this may concern,

This is the last entry in the book of the king of Israel, Ahab. Ahab was killed in the war against the Syrians in Ramoth Gilead, and as surely as the Lord lives, may he rest in peace. Apparently Ahab refused to take Micaiah's advice that advised him to just stay home while the war goes with our men. King Ahab decided that he would go into the war and hide as a private, a low soldier, in the war, while I was in his uniform as the leader. In the middle of the war, he was distracted with the men and I mustering the hardships of this battle, and a random arrow pierced his cold heart, killing him the moment it hit him. I pray for him, that the LORD have mercy on him as he goes through hell for eternity. May he rest in peace.

My Final Decision...

My decision is to take Ramoth Gilead. I must get the land for me and my country, and there is no way I will believe a prophet of this Yahweh! The prophets that come to me say I provoke him, but do I care? Not at all! I have military power and that is all that I will need for my battles. I do not need this Yahweh. I just need to really on my decisions. I will take over Ramoth Gilead and become a military war hero!

My people will bow down under Ba'al, Jezebel, and I! However, I will not take the chance in killing myself in this battle. I know! I will switch places with Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, and let him be the target! This plan is the winning plan for this war...

Ramoth Gilead

I've been thinking... the land I really desire and want to reconquer is Ramoth Gilead! I am not exactly sure why I want Raoth Gilead back, but all I know is that it is my land and I want it back. Maybe I want it because it could expand our forces deeper into Syrian territory, or maybe I just want it back because Israel used to have control over it. These thoughts have been mind boggling, however, it does seem logical for me to take down Ramoth Gilead and gain land for my nation, right? What should I possibly do at this moment: take Micaiah's advice and withdraw from the option of invasion, or use my true power and take down that city which is and will be reunited with Israel? Land or life?

Life is Good...

"I finally have become king! My father, Omri, dominated so many cities from other countries, and our nation has gained land that we have never gained before! It is so exciting how I have been selected as king in the Omri dynasty! Now I have more power than I can imagine! 'Truly amazing,' I said to myself after I was elected king of Israel. I will follow in the footsteps of my father, and I will gain even more lend than him, his fathers, his grandfathers, and the people in my dynasty that is yet to come!"

Micaiah's Prophecy

Micaiah, a prophet of God, visited my door one day. After three years of no war, I did not expect to see a prophet of a god to come see me. His words and oaths were very short to me. He told me that there will be a battle over a city of my desire. He said that if I attacked this city to conquer it out of my hunger for power, I would die. "What a fool," I thought to myself as a paced through my room. I will not die out of a meaningless war. I think and know that I will die out of old age or sickness. What an insignificant fool...

My New Vineyard!!!

Today I found the best place for building myself a new summer palace, and this place was owned by a man named Naboth. I told him that I wanted his land so I can build my summer palace, but Naboth refused, saying it was his inheritance from his god, Yahweh. When I came home I was furious! I wanted that vineyard so bad! I couldn't believe he refused even the money I would give him for his vineyard! What a fool! Well, what a fool he was, for my dear wife Jezebel took care of it for me. She sent men up to Naboth's vineyard, and the men killed him right then and there! The land was unoccupied, so my wife and I went to the vineyard, tore it down, and started to build our summer palace! It was magnificent!

Ben-Hadad Attacks Samaria

On this day at this time, I right to you, saying that Ben-Hadad, king of Syria, has attacked our capital city Samaria. He sent a messenger telling me that all my gold and silver is his now, but I told him that I could not and would not meet his demands. We sent letters to each other, saying threats and taunts, just to prove our courage and pride compared to one another. A prophet told me that I would win this battle over Ben-Hadad, so that I can know the LORD. What lord must I know, though? And who will strike first? The prophet told me I would take the first attack at him, and I did what I was told. I forced them to retreat, and I won this battle, but what will happen now?
